Skogsra on Indie Accent

Skogsra

b. - | ORIGIN: SWEDEN

The Huldra is a seductive forest creature found in Scandinavian folklore (her name derives from a root meaning "covered" or "secret"). In Swedish folklore, her name roughly translates to "the Forest Spirit", but in the native tongue she is known as — Skogsrå. The Skogsrå is a stunningly beautiful, naked woman with long hair; though from behind she is hollow like an old tree trunk, with an animal's tail. As survivors have testified, the Skogsrå seduces young men into her forest, rewarding those who satisfy her while killing those who do not. One who has spent a night with the Skogsrå will most likely find himself taciturn and incommunicative - for his soul is forever surrendered to her. (Facebook)
