A:M Festival 2018: About the Festival

Absence of Mute or A:M is a multi-genre music festival with a concept of a musical journey that is created to deliver messages from its respective guest stars with music as the media. This event aims to achieve a wider commercial market and become an international event between Indonesia’s top universities. To support the success of this event, A:M Festival 2018 will held a series of pre-event including Gimmick and Music Competition.

On Saturday, 07 April 2018 A:M Festival 2018 held a pre-event along with a Music Competition in Pavillion 28 Kemang, Jakarta Selatan. The winners of the music competition will get a chance to perform live on stage at the festival. With the holding of this Music Competition event, the participants are expected to develop their talents and work through music. There are 3 winners in this competition that have an opportunities to opened the festival: Dubsivision, Incuse, and The Stokvis.

This year, A:M Festival 2018 also managed to bring in two international artists namely Mac Ayres and Yung Bae. In addition to Mac Ayres and Yung Bae, the line up of local bands that will perform at the A:M Festival 2018 include The Groove, Fourtwnty, Barefood, Diskoria, BAP x A.Nayaka, Cathmandew, Anja and Doch. During the event, there are 18 tenants from food and beverages to creative tenant categories. And also the presence of 50 media partners who do live report that will made A:M Festival 2018 increasingly known by the public.
