We're approaching the end of month, so we've curated for you a playlist that best represent this month. The songs we picked in this playlist are songs that were there for us since the beginning of this month. Whether it's an old or new songs, they never left or skipped. They might be not our favourite, perhaps at one point they are, but when they're on, we tune into it till the countdown reaches 0:00 and we couldn't justify kicking them out of our daily routine.


The Bilinda Butcher - Girlfriend

Starting to make quite an impression with their EP "Regret, Love, Guilt Dreams" back in 2011, The Bilinda Butcher is back with new single, “Girlfriend”, which they also released in a Split 7" along with single from Japanese band, Lamp, titled "Blue". Dreamy ambience throughout the song will successfully cheer you up from the very first listen, especially the intro.

Anomalyst - Tropikalia

"Tropikalia" is an exciting release from Anomalyst and it's also the second single of Anomalyst's upcoming second album which will be released in October 2018. The title itself was taken from Tropicalia Movement, a political movement in Brazil in the 70s and 80s through the medium of music. For the lyrics, in terms of the style of language, diction, and figurative approach used was strongly influenced by Guruh Soekarno Putra and Chaseiro.

Phony Ppl - Before You Get a Boyfriend

The Brooklyn-based R&B/soul artist, Phony Ppl, is not a fresh face on the scene, having already released 5 album since 2009, the band finally back in 2018 with two new singles, "Way Too Far" and "Before You Get a Boyfriend". Their latest track are an absolute delight, showcasing the talent's smooth, R&B vocals, which suit the slinky arrangement of a neo-soul track. .

Miel De Montagne - Pourquoi Pas

The production on Miel De Montagne first single "Pourquoi Pas" is clean and well polished, with sassy lyrics about living naked and carefree. A whole EP is to be expected at some time this month. Rich in instrumental and futuristically sensual, this is music that you can groove to.

Anna Burch – Tea-Soaked Letter

Detroit-based artist Anna Burch, released her debut record Quit The Curse earlier this year. She is known for her tight songwriting and infectious lyrics, Burch combines upbeat guitars with her woozy vocals in a way that is feisty and compelling.

Vansire – Halcyon Age

Vansire's single, "Halcyon Age" is a hazy pop with an easy listening synth-centric tune. The slacker pop element adds an experimental aspect. But these artists have balanced these vastly different genres perfectly to create an innovative and novel approach to songwriting."

Kaveh Kanes – The Fountain

Kaveh Kanes' single "The Fountain" is a buoyantly pleasant take on dreampop, melding harmoniously with indie pop. Since 2015, the dreamy nuances attached to Kaveh Kanes's name after the release of debut album, "Capital". This time they are back with more freshly take on dream pop, a little touch of synthesizer, slower tempo, and more mature material, judging from two singles they released earlier.

Jakob Ogawa – Velvet Light

Norwegian based singer-songwriter, Jakob Ogawa has released his new single this month, titled “Velvet Light”. He’s back again to serves us with a chill sounds and delicate vocal which fit the vibe of a springtime.

Sobs - Eastbound

Packed with energy right from the start, this single comes ready to please. "Eastbound" is one of our favorite song from Sobs' critically acclaimed debut album "Telltale Signs". The pop-centric guitar pairs wonderfully with the upbeat drums while the vocals soothingly appears in the background. "Eastbound" has a wonderful melody paired with a dynamic chorus.

Rahasia Viktor - Norahl

Alternative rock music group from Jakarta, Rahasia Viktor, released an extended play entitled "Torviktor" couple weeks ago. Showcasing their thoughtful but fun brand of alternative music, we're treated to an absorbing '90s influenced fast-paced rocker.

Pleasure Nature – Little Heathen

Pleasure Nature is the work of Eli Rogin from Pacific Grove, CA. Little Heathen is the track he released at Soundcloud back in June 2018. Calm vocals, and noisey ambient, making it one of the hottest song we heard this month.

Ravyn Lenae – Computer Luv (ft. Steve Lacy)

19 years old R&B singer, Ravyn Lenae, teams up with Steve Lacy of The Internet in this lovely buoyant duet song titled "Computer Luv". In recent months, Lenae has seen her fame and critical acclaim explode thanks to the release of her fresh new EP, "Crush" which produced by Steve Lacy.
