We're approaching the end of month, so we've curated for you a playlist that best represent this month. The songs we picked in this playlist are songs that were there for us since the beginning of this month. Whether it's an old or new songs, they never left or skipped. They might be not our favourite, perhaps at one point they are, but when they're on, we tune into it till the countdown reaches 0:00 and we couldn't justify kicking them out of our daily routine.


Robby Hunter Band - Hard On Me

Robby Hunter Band is a Miami based group which bringing a unique blend of Indie Funk and Hip Hop.

Song in the video called "Hard On Me", the band describes this track as: "a dancey dollop of doo-wop that merges Motown pop appeal with Phoenix-y fatness, all the while taking on the timeless subject of sexual frustration.

Roman Foot Soldiers - Controversy

Roman Foot Soldiers, Jakarta based electronic/pop sextet formed in Vancouver by six Indonesian collegers back in 2005, their EP debuted in late 2011 titled, Kitsilano. The EP release sparked a momentum of appearances in Jakarta's cutting-edge music scene.

In 2017, they finally released their debut album, "Controversy", after 6 years. This song is one of my favorite from the album and it continued to get better and better everytime i hit play. Something about this band captured my attention, from the engaging guitar riff to a strong electronical nuance.

The Knocks - Classic

This track is seriously a good electro-funk jam! Song from The Knocks, an electronic music duo consisting of Ben "B-Roc" Ruttner and James "JPatt" Patterson, is a definitely ones to dance your heart out. The Knocks known for their own releases on labels such as Kitsuné, Neon Gold, and A&M Octone-Interscope and for their remixes which feature prominently on HypeMachine, Beatport, and various DJs' setlists.

HOAX - Moon Moon Baby

HOAX single, “Moon Moon Baby”, is an adult lullaby about change, comfort, and the essence of “Being” rathern than "Doing". It's a modern, cutting-edge indie pop that keeps the tempo going while throwing in a healthy dose of twists and turns.

Garside - Swivel

Another exciting act from Medan, Indonesia. Back in 2018, indie-rock group, Garside, released their debut EP, "Should've Been (Could've Been)", which include single, "Swivel". It's a simple three minute piece of bouncy indie rock is perfect for the much anticipated arrival of summer sunshine.

Space Cubs - Golden Move

Purwokerto based group Space Cubs, released their debut EP "Space Cubs Frame by Frame" back in 2018 which consists of 3 songs. The single "Golden Move" is one of our favorite, the track is driven by instrumentation that is both minimalist and magnetic at the same time. Although the tempo emits a more easy listening feel, the overall track is a banger. Their music is a lovely blend of dream pop and synth pop that brings you to that summer state of mind.

Rayssa Dynta - Under Cover

Since the release of her debut album (Prolog), Rayssa Dynta has released a few of follow-ups, including remixes and acoustic reprises. Now she finally release new track which still captures her persona in musical perspective.

The song contains simplicity of her soulful vocals in this song, accompanied by a minimalist electronic sound and captivating lyrics.

Albert Hammond Jr. - Fast Times

This song got some nostalgic vibes on it, all i think about when listening to this is The Strokes' Room on Fire album with a Sufjan Stevens vocal on it. Albert Hammond Jr. has shared a new tune called “Fast Times,” the latest single from the Strokes guitarist.

Pathway Pleasure - Bullet

Jakarta based indie rock unit, Pathway Pleasure, released new single "Bullet" which shows development from their previous 2 songs, in term of song-writing and bring new approach musically and lyrically.

No Buses - Pretty Old Man

No Buses is Tokyo based garage rock group with melodies and gritty chords as their essentials.

Short and sweet, "Pretty Old Man" is their latest single which got some weird description of old man in the lyrics.

Chewing Sparkle - Trick

Chewing Sparkle, finally returned with his latest single, “Trick”. This is the first song after the release of their first mini album, Hugger-Mugger back in 2016.

Phum Viphurit - Hello, Anxiety

Kicking off with bright guitar chords and funky drums, the first verse paves the way for the melodic guitar section that adds depth to the track. It carries the feel good energy of the but with an essence of reflection and coming of age.

Bangkok based, Phum Viphurit, crashed the blogosphere with last year's, "Lover Boy". Now he's back with follow up for the song, it's a single titled, "Hello, Anxiety".

Sports Day - Shook

The bassline is got me in since the song starts, "Shook" by Sports Day is a woozy, dream-pop kind of song which reel you in immediately, i come for the groovy bass lines, but stay for a good dream pop.
