The Joy of Slapdash Festival 3.0

With the proliferation of existing concert or gigs around us, Indie Accent try to gather the information about the event in the new section called, Indie Accent Event Review. We will give you information about the event that we have coverage. This section will cover the information about the event, the artists, as well as some photos of the events.

With a series of events that are consistent in each of their presence, in July 28, Proud Project brought another chapters of joy through Slapdash Festival 3.0. Still taking place at Conclave Wijaya, the festival featured curated fashion and F&B bazaar, 4 inspiring talk shows, a photo exhibition, and special music performances.

Starting from 11 am, this event marked with 4 talkshows with several guest including Kenneth William - the founder of Folkative - who talks with the theme of ‘creativepreneurship’, Marischka Prudence - a travel blogger and journalist, special talk about ‘harga temen’ from komposisi.id, and one special talk show under the theme of ‘music and beyond’ who enlivened by Bam Mastro (Vocalist of Elephant Kind), Softanimal (Drummer of Elephant Kind), and Poppie Airil (Bassist of Efek Rumah Kaca). Through this talk shows, the variety of speakers from different backgrounds, visitors were invited to learn about new things from various kind of perspectives.

Not only talk shows, alongside with the bazaar and photo installations, this third series of Slapdash Festival also provided us with music performances to spoiled our ears and made us sway. Tokyolite was the first performances who hit the stage, which later continued with the appearance by MLD Jazz Project Vol. 2, Oscar Lolang, Mothern, Janitra Satriani, and Reality Club. The excitement of the night succeeded to make the venue feel warm and cheerful as people were dance and sing along through their favorite performances.

Slapdash Festival will surely be the perfect fit for those who interested in learning new things from different perspective, and also music and art.
