ADEGAN RANJANG 1981 1982
by SAJAMA CUT

"The track is a balanced blend, manifesting the perfect dip."

SINGLE
RELEASED ON 2020

Jakarta based group, Sajama Cut, has been consistently put on their signature melodic sound on each of their songs since my first listen to their “Less Afraid” song back in 2009. After released their latest album “Softcore” back in 2018, now they’re finally back with new single titled, “Adegan Ranjang 1981 1982”, last month.
To be oddly specific, this song is one I would listen to if I was in a rom-com, watching the sunset while holding hands with lover on the beach as the movie ends. Maybe the weather beginning to warm up, but something in the melody gives off major summer vibes. Within the first five seconds, the guitar illuminates the track and creates exciting energy for the first verse leading into the rest of the song. It's unexpectedly catchy and I'm instantly drawn in.
Sajama Cut, creates their own version of "love song" with their bright rhythm guitar. The track is a balanced blend, manifesting the perfect dip. It's been a hot moment since a good old-fashioned indie rock has caught my attention.
