ADULT DIVERSION
by ALVVAYS

"Easy to digest pop song which definitely become easy-morning companion"

PART OF ALVVAYS ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2014

Alvvays is Canadian Indie Pop band formed in 2011, their music can be specifically called jangle pop or in my opinion is dream pop with more killin' melodies. Funny thing is, according to singer-songwriter, Molly Rankin, if asked about a genre she would said "If old people ask, I say it sounds like the Cranberries. If young people ask, I call it jangle pop. If a punk asks, I say it's pop.".
The song "Adult Diversion" providing a dreamy atmospheric, easy to digest pop song which definitely become a easy summer-morning companion. Rankin's vocals is the main thing which keep their music refreshingly oldschool beside the strong guitar melodies. They are currently working on a second studio album since it's 2 years from their debut album, hopefully coming out soon.
Recommended songs: Archie Marry Me, Party Police, Atop a Cake.
