"Excellent package of warm and fuzzy surf pop songs"

No matter how much I've overconsumed surf pop music, Swimming Tapes always got me over and over again. The song titled Alison which taken from their latest EP “Soft Sea Blue”. One thing that never misses from each of their songs is that guitar melody spells that will easily spin in your head. It feels like they’re warming your heart with that.
The song itself talking about their friend that moved to Australia and the twisting part is their friend name doesn’t fit the chorus melody, so they changed it to Alison. Soft Sea Blue is an excellent package of warm and fuzzy surf pop songs, and it does not disappoint me at all as I have so much expectation after they give in the Souvenirs EP. Highly recommended.
