DIGITAL LOVE (FEAT. RAMENGVRL)
by MARDIAL

"The beat is deceptively simple, playful and warped"

PART OF MARDIAL & FRIENDS EP
RELEASED ON 2017

"Digital Love" is a song from Indonesian electronic act, Mardial featuring hip-hop singer Ramengvrl. Having also collaborated with other acts in his EP, there's also a number of enjoyable singles such as "Rush", "Over Kill" and "HypeGone". Mardial has created some of the most addictive songs I have heard recently but this synth pop song is the one who caught my ears the first time.
Mardial seeks to create electronic and rap music and trying to blend the gap between the two. "Digital Love" is an ideal example. This track is beyond the comfort zone for him and Ramengvrl as well. The beat is deceptively simple, playful and warped. Ramengvrl, has a casual confidence with a flow and cadence that's kind of suite the lyrics about simplicity of love in this digital era, which is why I dig it so much.
This is another impressive offering from one of the Jakarta's most underrated artist. If you're digging this as much as I am, be sure to check out his other releases on Spotify/Itunes.
