FACE DOWN IN THE GUTTER OF YOUR LOVE
by DENT MAY

"His voice and persona kinda reminds me of Mayer Hawthorne"

PART OF ACROSS THE MULTIVERSE ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2017

Dent May's first appearance on Indie Accent is his light-hearted power pop ballad "Across the Multiverse" featuring Frankie Cosmos. Considering the attractiveness of this song, I'm really eager to hear more of his songs.
Dent May is mostly associated with psychedelic pop, synthpop, indie rock, and new wave genres of music. His vocals are so singable and infectious that this song will get stuck in your after just one listen. His voice and persona kinda reminds me of Mayer Hawthorne, plus his ability to mix a number of different genres.
This track, “Face Down In The Gutter of Your Love”, is incredibly plush and colorful, with psychadelic feels, funky bass, a sleek beat and gorgeously layered harmonies.
