Covering Tame Impala? A touch of psychedelic groove and deep layers of synths would pretty much does it, but this cover is very far from it. Say Lou Lou, a twin sister musical duo, did the track their own way.
Released back in 2013 this track always mesmerized me ever since, they transform the song into something gloomy-downtempo and thoroughly Scandinavian. With duo delicate vocals over a set of ambient atmospherics, they reached a level of comfortness no one else would find in any Tame Impala cover.
I knew this duo after their contribution in Goldroom's "Sweetness Alive" (this one's nice too btw), but with this song and their debut album "Lucid Dreaming" SLL proves that they're not an usual "featuring" artist which featured in one song and then dissapear.
