FORGET ABOUT ME

Nick Murphy, formerly known as Chet Faker, just dropped a five track EP titled "Missing Link". This is his first release after he dropped the moniker and took up his birth name, Nick Murphy.
The song in the video is one of the five tracks that in my opinion is the easiest to digest, an upbeat track called "Forget About Me". It's an aggresive song that features Murphy's signature yearning, soulful vocals. Just like his previous "Fear Less", this one is a beautiful electronic track that not only shows his transformation from Chet Faker to Nick Murphy but also a transformation of his maturity and how he writes his new musics.
Murphy said “My tastes are pretty dynamic and I realised I’ve spent time resisting that. Now I want to put everything in. It’s not conceptual anymore. It’s just me, and it made sense to show that in a name. It feels like a rediscovery.”
