HEDONIST
by LUST

"Kicks off with an upbeat intro of beating drums and weaving guitars"

PART OF VANTABLACK EP
RELEASED ON 2020

In full disclosure, this is my first time listening to Malaysia based duo, LUST, but I can tell this is a solid discovery on my part since I’m already diggin’ their single.

“Hedonist”, kicks off with an upbeat intro of beating drums and weaving, whaling guitars that add a sense of urgency and purpose to the song. I was instantly hooked on this song’s fun beat and couldn't get it out of my head.

Within the first five seconds, the guitar illuminates the track and creates exciting energy for the first verse leading into the rest of the song. This is an easy listening, slacker pop treasure which taken from their latest EP, “Vantablack”, and LUST has proven their worthiness of creating impressive, easy listening, experimental pop. -CF
