KEHENDAK TUHAN
by MANTRA VUTURA

"Rich, layered background evolves inconspicuously"

SINGLE
RELEASED ON 2020

"Kehendak Tuhan" is another welcome dose of experimental music by Mantra Vutura featuring Natasha Udu that finds the creative using various elements, which combined with electronic melodies to form an engaging and heartfelt sound.

Their latest song is all about these recurring themes: pop-futuristic sounds, which this time combined with a hint of melancholy and Udu's devoted voice harmonizes over Zaki's vocal and layers of immaculate, atmospheric instrumentals and luminous synths. I especially like the interplay between the lightness to the vocals and the heavy layered beats.

Running at only ?3:24?, the song continues onward without it feeling monotonous; the rich, layered background evolves inconspicuously. Most of us can't experience music in large groups right now, but we can use tracks like this to transport us to places and experiences we might like to imagine.
