Fazerdaze, the Auckland based musician, known for making effortless indie pop songs that are far less effortless than people think.
Auckland based musician have released her debut album "Morningside" via Flying Nun Records. Fazerdaze aka Amelia Murray is the latest signee of the records which known for their "Dunedin sound". This song comes stacked with all the essentials for a lo-fi surf pop track. We're treated to an abundance of drifting guitar riffs, upbeat tempo and Amelia's adorable floating vocals.
There's a light, airiness to the songs, mostly created by the guitar and her vocals. Listening to girl musician is always an interesting one, her "Morningside" is an album for all seasons whether you hear it on summer or cold winter, her songs guarantee your insides remain all warm and fuzzy for the duration of their stay in your head.
