MY PROPELLER
by ARCTIC MONKEYS

"Transition from their old musical style to the new one"

PART OF HUMBUG ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2009

The best Arctic Monkeys album to me is "Humbug", this album is a transition from their old musical style to the new one, from "Favorite Worst Nightmare" to "Suck It and See" and from Alex Turner's geeky short hair to his messy long-hair, this album is in the middle. The song "My Propeller" is so dark as well as other songs in the album, especially if you compare with their previous album, but in this album you can see their maturity, their development in making a music, if this album does not exist, nor has some hits like "Do I Wanna Know" "R U Mine" and so on, because this is where they start as Arctic Monkeys that exist right now
