Taipei based soul-psych, 80's inpired group, Sunset Rollercoaster, have shared their new 9-track album, SOFT STORM. After teamed up with Oh Hyuk, vocalist and guitarist of South Korean band HYUKOH, for "Candlelight", their new record also features Filipino-American singer-songwriter Michael Seyer on a song titled, "Passerby".

It is another glorious, 80s driven velvety number from Sunset Rollercoaster, it combines lazy grooves and smooth percussion, bound to please both fans of My Jinji and Cassa Nova era. Says the band about the new album, “Typhoons hitting Taiwan during our summers are common childhood memories for us. In these memories, power shortages and storms were everywhere, we were with our families and loved ones in the dark, but we felt safe and warm. This year is like a storm for us, we are trying to make our music a soft one to connect to each other, so we could move on to a brighter future”
