PENARI

"Acoustic music that simple with traditional Sundanese ethnic"

PART OF ROPEA ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2016

As you can see there are so many artists that have been filling the local folk music scene lately, and Parahyena (@parahyena) is one of them. They released their first album titled Ropea and this is their single titled “Penari”. To be honest this band made me fall in love at first sight (cheesy I know) but I really did. Remember the Elephant Kind gigs that we put on Snapchat about a month ago? These guys filled the same stage a few moments before the Elephant Kind. The sad truth is I was too late to figure them out as their album release concert was the day before. But anyways, the typical acoustic music that is simple and traditional Sundanese ethnic seasoning on their songs with strains of supporting instrument like the flute, violin and upright bass gives a unique yet cool impression.Their another single called “Ayakan” is one that worth to listen. It use two language, English and Sundanese, better check them on the soundcloud soon!
