PORTLAND

rebelsuns (@rblsuns), an alternative/pop-rock duo from South Jakarta released their brand new track entitled "Portland" and they put out an official music video for that song three weeks ago. The music video is a visual representation of the song itself, Directed and edited by the vocalist of rebelsuns, Dai Ramadhani and helped by Nadia Rompas for the shots. The concept of the video is them performing the song whilst doing a video call with a girl (the girl looks like Kylie Jenner btw!). In the video, can be seen the friends of rebelsuns such as Vari from Lonernavts and Ratta, Abi, and Ariel from bedchamber.

For me, rebelsuns can't stop making a catchy song, it's a typical song that you can sing-along together with your friends. The song started with the combination of a jangly guitar melody and strong synth sound. Unlike the previous single, this song is not as dancy as "World Number Two" or "The Things We Did (In The Thing We Had), but more suitable to listen after a tiring-work day.
