PUZZLE PIECE

This is my first introduction to the Semarang based synthwave producer, Paraplu, and i think it’s a fine one. “Puzzle Piece” is another glorious, 80s driven synth number from Paraplu, dreamy but also dance-y, it combines lazy grooves and smooth percussion, bound to please any 80s disco fans.

Synthwave melody and a consistent beat create the perfect foundation upon a floaty, Vansire-like vocals which is interesting. Still, it’s the dreamy feel of his production that makes the single so notable as it is brimming with lush electronics and ultra-chill rhythms.

Near the end of the song, there's some kind of an outro with saxophone and all, which pretty much stole my heart. The synths have a very relaxing effect and overall, this is a gem you can either dance to or simply unwind too.
