If you're in search of a fresh folk-pop band with all the bells and trumpets, well then this Jogjakarta group is yours for the taking. Auretté and The Polska Seeking Carnival, have delivered a folksy pop piece that is moving and blissful with their single "Rinai Hujan", which taken from their second album "Bloom" released in 2018.
The single sees a slightly new direction from the group, more diverse in term of song topics and it's a more bold sound than their previous self-titled debut album. The album's first single, "Rinai Hujan," was exactly that when I first stumbled across it. A stirring track, it's full of ebs and flows, with evocative vocals supported by the band's well-designed musical arrangements.
