SMALL TALK
by CAUSEWAY YOUTH

"The jangly guitars pave a path down a beachy shoreline"

SINGLE
RELEASED ON 2021

“Small Talk” by Singapore based group, Causeway Youth, is sweet, dreamy, nostalgic indie-pop that is sure to have you bopping your head and tapping your foot in no time.

The jangly guitars pave a path down a beachy shoreline while the echoey vocals float atop in an atmospheric bubble, creating a charming and playful single served with very honest and real subject matter.

This is my first introduction to the group, and i think it’s a fine one. The intro incorporates a pretty, calming sound that really pulled me in. The track opens with a soft, intertwining instrumental loop, offering listeners a slightly lighter approach than previous singles, “Ride the Waves” and “You Got Me”.
