The production on this debut album of Jakarta based group, Blue Room Boys, as a whole is very cohesive, and the instrumentation for “SPEAKIN THRU” is surely standout, at least for me. The bluesy guitar sound paired with the bobbing bassline, as well as the raw beats that simply knocks, created such a emotive vibe for this song. The great matching of instrumentation to modern rap flare on this album is something that they did really well.

In this album they possess an effortless flow and easily manage to slide between musical genres, often creating personal and infectious songs you'll have on repeat. It's an uncomplicated, fascinating 9-track album that you can't help but get swept away with the emotion.

The group’s low-key vibe will put you right at ease as you tap your foot along to the catchy but consistent rhythm. This is an exciting release from the band, the time they've taken to produce the album is clearly paid off, let's hope for another new releases from them in the future.
