"It is definitely a fuzzy and joyous little soft electro-pop track"

PART OF SAME AS YOU ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2023

Makassar based group, “DVY”, delivered joy and distress all in one immaculate bottle with their debut mini album, “Same As You”. It comprises 5 songs, and it is a summary of their eclectic sound exploration.

Lead single, “Spell”, takes off with a strong foundation of easy listening, groove-centric rhythms paired with twinkling keyboard. There is a true warmth to the track, and it is definitely a fuzzy and joyous little soft electro-pop track.

The vocals are clear and demanding, with a powerful warmth that ties it all together in the most delicate of ways. It has a nice build up that speeds up and slows back down again throughout the song, like a wave rising and falling. DVY describes a kaleidoscope of soft sounds and embracing lyrics in true detail in this debut album.
