The Cat Police is a Tangerang based group which already released their debut album "Tropical Industries" back in 2016. In February 2019, they returned with "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall". In this EP they're not talking about fear of becoming an adult, but represent about youth's anxiety. The band, with single "Sunny Day is Over", cut through the current climate of endless generic indie rock laced with uninspired lyrics and played out song structures.
Their fresh brand of guitar pop and indie rock with jangly rhythms and ear worm melodies are a treasure to the ear.
