THE DISTANCE
by SAN CISCO

"This catchy, innocent tracks is one of our favorite from the album"

PART OF THE WATER ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2017

Song from Australian indie-pop quartet, San Cisco, is definitely an instant earworm. "The Distance" is taken from their 3rd studio album, The Water, which released this year.
This catchy, innocent tracks is one of our favorite from the album, this is music made to be enjoyed, jangly guitar, spacey synths and funky bassline throughout the song. It's infectious. The album itself still has the signature jangly pop and there's no drastic departure from their old sound.
According to San Cisco guitarist Josh Biondillo: "We organised five, ten day stints in the studio. It mostly came together in the studio and I think that's the reason that the sound is a bit more similar between songs - there's a lot more ties between them, similarities. It was a good energy."
