THE FORGOTTEN LOST FRAGMENTS
by CAMLANN

"Delightfully bleaky offering from this emerging group"

PART OF THE FORGOTTEN LOST FRAGMENTS ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2020

I have fallen head over heels for this delightfully bleaky offering from this emerging group. Camlann is Jakarta based darkwave/post-punk group which released their debut album, "The Forgotten Lost Fragments", via Germany record label, Cold Transmission Music, back in July.

First track that i listened from the album, "The Forgotten Lost Fragments", which also the name from the album, starts slow and builds into a spacy tune sprinkled with electronic drum and dimly lit guitar which become the essence of Camlann's production. The synth laying the foundations for the track with a simmering, moody rhythm, before a short, sharp chorus bursts in with thundering impact.

It's truly a pleasure to discover young musicians like this, who make records that lean towards their gloomy side of music. It feels classic, like a wrongly long forgotten album from decades back.
