TIEN SHINHAN
by POLKA WARS

"Each instrument finds its own space amongst the production"

SINGLE
RELEASED ON 2020

After their 2019's second album, Bani Bumi, and their break-up rumours, Polka Wars finally released their latest single, "Tien Shinhan", as their first single in 2020.

There's a real sense of creative synergy and expression between all band members, resulting in a very satisfying and balanced song. The opening guitar is bolstered by rhythmic drumming and a thumping bass line, before recognizable Karaeng's vocal takes over. Each instrument finds its own space amongst the production giving "Tien Shinhan" a pleasant warmy feel.

The guitar, a.k.a. my favorite part of the song, steals the show. This and the bass line don't shy away from making bold statements instrumentally, which accompanied well by the vocals. Let's just hope there's more to come from the band after this single.
