Second single from highly anticipated sophomore album from Haim just released couple days ago. I'm blown away by the video of their first single "Right Now", but to be honest it's not as good as i thought it would be. Now they releasing the album’s first proper single in "Want You Back".
Starting out as a bit of a slow burner, "Want You Back" eventually turn into an amazingly textured piece of indie pop. Their development and matureness on music are very visible, with their slant toward handclaps ballad, floating guitar and funky bass slap, giving their music an enjoyable personality.
This song only enhances their reputation as one of American's indie-pop superstars. "Want You Back" and "Right Now" are new materials following the release of their "Something To Tell You" in July 7. The trio have also announced several UK tour dates.
