"Signature melodious guitar complimented by sweet chord progressions"

PART OF FROM MEXICO WITH LOVE ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2022

One of my favorite indie-rock trio released their latest album, “From Mexico With Love”, an album which inspired by their time in Mexico during quarantine. This album is an alt-rock slow burn that pulls you to its center and dematerializes into something far more universal, with sound that captures a lot of the DNA found in their previous album.

Song on the video, “Auto-Sabotage”, features Lachlan’s signature melodious guitar but this time it's complimented by sticky sweet chord progressions. The recognizable vocals tie it all together in the most delicate of ways. “From Mexico With Love” is slowly becoming my late addition to the favorite albums of the year. With songs like, “CDMX”, “Put Up With The Weather”, and “Look Back” already in my “On Repeat” playlist throughout 2022.

For them, Mexico was more than just a place to quarantine, but it was also an inspiration, with a fact that they honored the country by choosing “CDMX” as the title for one of the song in the album.
