BANDUNG
by MOCCA

"Delicate harmonies in Arina's voice and a pleasant instruments work"

PART OF HOME ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2014

I know this may be too late but song from Bandung based indie-pop band Mocca (@moccaofficial), is worth a feature here. I was a little confused when choosing what song will be featured between "Bandung" and "Bundle of Joy", as both are my (or perhaps everybody's) favorite from their latest album "Home" then finally it goes to the flower city song. Bandung, the city which tend to be famous for being pretty good at creative industry also music making in Indonesia. For some people, Bandung could also be their home, including four members of Mocca. After taking a break for a few years and occupied theirself with work or other projects, in early 2015 they returned to their old home named Mocca. This song begins with a dreamy slice of indie-pop, highlighted by delicate female harmonies in Arina's voice and a pleasant instruments work. Arina's vocals are simply something we will all feel like we know right away because it sounds so familiar, admit it! For you who misses the old music of Mocca this song is definitely the cure, it takes us back to early Mocca songs on the album "Colours" or the first album that raised their name "Friends". Definitely song that reminds you of a cold rainy day in Bandung.
