DRIPPING SUN
by KIKAGAKU MOYO

"Melodies combined with the soft tonal vocals give off an angelic vibe"

PART OF MASANA TEMPLES ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2018

Interesting thing about Kikagaku Moyo is their music somehow begs desperately to be listened to in the middle of the night, lights off alone in your room. The first time i listened to this Japanese psychedelic rock group 2018's single, "Dripping Sun", i wasn't sure about this song when it started. The intro is interesting though, then finally I stuck around until the ?7:50? mark to see how this song all filled out. Turns out that "filling" hit all the right notes, and my ears were quickly won over by the band's psychedelic rambling.
The relaxed composition sets the laid-back tone for the listener as the percussion keeps a slow and steady rhythm. The bass and guitar delicately intertwine, offering a soft funk sound. The melodies combined with the soft tonal vocals give off an angelic vibe, tying it all together for a perfect psyched out song. Make sure to check out their latest track, "Ouchi Time" which released a month ago. -CF
