GESNERIANA
by SORE

"Gesneriana has a 70s/80s melancholy vibes to it."

PART OF
RELEASED ON 2015

Sore is Jakarta based four-piece who's find their way back into our radar after a year off from music industry. Over the past couple of years the guys have been putting together their third album, their new tracks shows us a very new direction for the band, who was known for their pop with heavily keyboard touch by an old member who's also the one of the mastermind of this band couple years ago. The new album "Los Skut Le Boys" is much more easy, just like the album titled "Skut" which is an Indonesian's slang word for "Relax", and apparently more mature without changed their old style of play. Gesneriana has a 70s/80s melancholy vibes to it. Just a simple guitar riffs coupled with an interesting bass line which adds to the introspective vocals of the band's lead, Ade Paloh. With solid experience and talent, there's a clear path to success awaiting them.
