After nearly four years from his last LP “Paracosm”, the chillwave pioneer Ernest Greene – known as Washed Out – has finally returned with his new album titled “Mister Mellow” under the Los Angeles based label, Stones Throw. He also presents us with alluring collage art, hand-drawings, and psychedelic animations through his visual piece for each song that you can access on Youtube. Driving away from the influence under his old work and former record indie label Sub Pop, he created more upbeat sounds and added touches of disco mixed with psychedelic tunes on his album, including his first single called, “Get Lost” which was released on May 26th. The full album has already been released at the end of last month and you guys should definitely give it a listen. Mister Mellow could be the perfect companion while you dance around under the warmth of the summer sun.
