JOHNNY
by BASEMENT REVOLVER

"I can feel the chaotic seep into my mind."

PART OF SELF TITLED EP
RELEASED ON 2016

You might think that Alvvays is the band behind this music but they aren't. It’s Basement Revolver who brought this song for they debut EP and the song itself called Johnny. It got 80s and 90s influenced pop with distortion and fuzz guitar effect. In this song, Chrisy Hurn’s vocals is getting along with the melancholic lyrics which is on point.

When you can really feel what the singers feel then you know that she’s doing it really good, isn’t she? I can feel the chaotic seep into my mind. And it reaches at its peak as it goes like “It’s a really bad time right now, it’s a really bad time right now”.

This year they give us a shot with another EP and it got “Johnny Part. 2” in it. Go and give them a whirl!
