"The track is led by a charming piano melody and the chorus’ harmonies"

SINGLE
RELEASED ON 2021

After 3 years, Beach Fossils are back with a dreamy cover of Kelly Lee Owens’ “L.I.N.E.” The track is led by a charming piano melody and the chorus’ heavenly harmonies.

It's remarkable how behind that sugary pop exterior there lies a certain delicacy and fragility embedded within the lyrics. The band keeps things fairly subdued, offering up a fresh version of the song that doesn't alter too much from the original. The awkwardness is sort of extinguished and instead we're left with this feeling of true and authentic emotion as the group put it.

This latest cover is for Secretly Canadian's SC25 Singles series celebrating the label's 25th anniversary, Secretly Canadian aims to raise $250,000 for Bloomington organisation, New Hope For Families, as part of its year-long 25th anniversary plans via the reissues and singles.
