YOUR HEAD AS MY FAVOURITE BOOKSTORE
by ELEVENTWELFTH

"I recommend you listen to the EP continously."

SINGLE OF ELEVENTWELFTH SELF-TITLED EP.
RELEASED ON 2017

eleventwelfth (@eleventwelfth) is a twinkle emo/indie rock trio from Jakarta, Indonesia. They began as a duo musical project with Rona Hartriant and Almas Makitsuna in 2014 and were later joined by Yogawerda Kessawa that expanded it into a passionate project. They released a self-titled EP under Six Thirty Recordings two weeks ago. As stated by Rona Hartriant, the self-titled EP is dedicated to his late father who passed away in 2015, which made the band into who they are right now. I've been following Almas (the drummer of eleventwelfth) since he was in a band called Mati Lampu and Hummingbird, i always missed his snare sound so his return to the music scene kinda excited me. The song in the video is the single from their EP, entitled "Your Head As My Favourite Bookstore", featuring Indonesian folk darling, Asteriska. The song is filled with rich twinkling guitar and uplifting drums, enriched by phrases that can make you cry unconsiously, just like "a white paper full of false hope". You can feel a jazzy drum at the bridge which reminds me of "Whiplash", showing that they have a rich music reference. I recommend you listen to the EP continously, as there is a story in it. Masterpiece.
