BE SWEET
by JAPANESE BREAKFAST

"The soothing synth-pop production matches with Michelle’s vocals"

PART OF JUBILEE ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2021

After her last album in 2017 and a few super addictive singles, Michelle Zauner aka Japanese Breakfast is back with new song titled, “Be Sweet”. The soothing synth-pop production matches with Michelle’s vocals which falling effortlessly over jangly guitars and grooving bass.

Taken from her upcoming album, “Jubilee”, this one is co-written by Jack Tatum of Wild Nothing. After spending the least five years writing about grief, she wanted the next album to be about joy, and it’s reflected in this song. Driven by a sweet synthesizer swing and Michelle’s strong character voices, this aesthetic delivers a positive vibes resulting an unpretentious love song.
Japanese Breakfast's new album, “Jubilee”, comes out on June 4th.
