If you’ve been troubled finding that perfect songs to chill during the summer, we’re gonna sort you out with some of the most infectious, soulful tracks from a 20-year-old London beat-maker, Tom Misch.
The track featured here is ‘In the Midst of It All’. It’s one of the first thing we listen to every morning. But what is it that makes it ‘indieaccent-worthy’? The song started slow but progressed in timely fashion to an epic conclusion, in the case of the track featured today, it’s the guitar solo on the second half of the song. Also, Tom gave each element in the song its own spotlight, its own time to shine. These are true for most of his songs and it is, safe to say, his DNA. To find out the epic twist hidden inside all of his tracks, you should give his album ‘Beat Tape 2’ a spin. We rarely recommend you to listen to a whole album unless it’s THAT good. And this definitely is.
With the release of his new EP, 'Reverie’, which is just around the corner, he’ll be headlining a number of festivals this summer, including Glastonbury!
