I never thought that I would find a gem from Taipei, Taiwan. This band is called Sunset Rollercoaster, and this song is titled “My Jinji”. The song along with two others is compiled in an EP named ‘Jinji Kikko”. It comes after a long hiatus due to their members focusing on other projects. In 2015, they reunited and this EP came a year after that. Although the EP was released about a year ago, you still wouldn't want to miss it.
This band, who have joined the Summer Sonic right after their debut album, “Bossa Nova”, was released, tried again with this EP. “My Jinji” is the one that really got me. That combination of synth pop and psychedelic rock in this song is super dope. With the tempo that continues to rise slowly by introducing the instrument one by one, this song just drove me to climb the stairs of pleasure. This song will be the perfect lullaby for you in every night.
