The blissful remedies of breezy synth-pop are alive and well here with, “Umami”, this bright, poppy, synthy tune is the latest offering from Jakarta based musician, Paraplu, which composed of a balance of laid-back vocals, soft synths, and fun percussion.

The synth chord that keeps repeating has my ears gripping and reaching for more. The track in its entirety is immensely addictive, it built on a foundation of rich harmonies, a patient beat, and laid-back vocal delivery.

“Umami” is a continuation of his sun-bleached, shimmering synth-pop after previous single, “Puzzle Piece”.
