NOBODY OWENS
by DRIED CASSAVA

"From a simple catchy melody in the verse to a bluesy-funk bridge"

PART OF SENSITIVE EXPLOSIVE ALBUM
RELEASED ON 2014

Hailing from Jakarta a four-piece band, Dried Cassava, touches on number of genres to fulfill their impetuous yet powerful tones. Rock, blues, funk, and pop are all mixed together to embrace their young and energetic personality. Their track "Nobody Owens" is my personal favorite, it blends all of the genres that i said earlier and making it the most complete song of Dried Cassava, from a simple catchy melody in the verse to a bluesy-funk bridge with a fuzzy vocals. Baskoro's high-pitches voice might be the biggest asset especially when combined perfectly with the band's prominent instruments.

Not only good on writing and recording the track themselves, but apparently @driedcassava also performed it really well, fortunately i've watched their live performance a couple times and it really is a good indie-rock moment experience.
